Ascorbyl Glucoside

Also known as: AA2G, Vitamin C Glucoside

Ascorbyl glucoside is a stable vitamin C derivative where ascorbic acid is bonded to glucose. It converts to free ascorbic acid in the skin via enzymatic activity. More stable than L-ascorbic acid and suitable for higher pH formulations, making it easier to combine with other actives. Effective for brightening and antioxidant protection, though less potent than pure L-ascorbic acid.
