Haematococcus Pluvialis Extract

Also known as: Haematococcus Extract, Natural Astaxanthin

Astaxanthin is a carotenoid antioxidant derived from microalgae, considered one of the most potent natural antioxidants available. It is 6,000 times stronger than vitamin C and 550 times stronger than vitamin E in certain antioxidant assays. It has documented benefits for UV protection, skin elasticity, and reducing fine lines. Its intense red colour limits use concentrations in formulations.
