Bakuchiol

Bakuchiol

Also known as: Babchi Extract

Bakuchiol is a meroterpene phenol from the Psoralea corylifolia plant. Clinical studies show it activates retinoid receptors and produces similar gene expression changes to retinol, reducing fine lines and improving skin firmness. Unlike retinol, it does not cause photosensitivity or significant irritation, making it suitable for sensitive skin and use during pregnancy. A genuine retinol alternative with growing clinical evidence.
