Cera Alba

Also known as: White Beeswax, Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava

Beeswax is a natural wax produced by honeybees, used in lip balms, body butters, and solid formulations as an occlusive and thickener. It creates a protective barrier on the skin surface and has mild antimicrobial properties. Its emulsifying properties allow it to bind water and oil phases in anhydrous formulations. A staple in natural and organic cosmetics.
