Centella asiatica (cica) contains active compounds including asiaticoside, madecassoside, asiatic acid, and madecassic acid. These triterpenoids stimulate collagen synthesis, accelerate wound healing, and have potent anti-inflammatory effects. Widely used in K-beauty for soothing irritated, post-procedure, and acne-prone skin. One of the best-evidenced botanical ingredients in skincare.
