Leuphasyl (pentapeptide-18) is a synthetic enkephalin analogue that reduces muscle contraction by modulating opioid receptors. It is often combined with argireline for enhanced expression line reduction. Clinical studies show it reduces wrinkle depth and improves skin smoothness. Works through a complementary mechanism to argireline.
