Resveratrol

Also known as: Trans-Resveratrol, 3,5,4'-Trihydroxystilbene

Resveratrol is a polyphenol stilbenoid found in grape skins, red wine, and Japanese knotweed. It is a potent antioxidant that activates sirtuins (longevity proteins) and has anti-inflammatory, anti-ageing, and photoprotective properties. Works synergistically with vitamin C and ferulic acid. Unstable in formulations and requires careful packaging to maintain efficacy.
