Squalane

Also known as: Plant Squalane, Olive Squalane

Squalane is a saturated, stable form of squalene that closely mimics the skin's own sebum. It is lightweight, non-greasy, and suitable for all skin types including oily and acne-prone. Derived from olives, sugarcane, or shark liver (though plant-derived is now standard), it softens skin, reduces water loss, and improves skin texture without clogging pores.
